The Wang-an Township enjoys a rich and unique cultural heritage and natural scenery. The majestic basalt formations on Tiantai Mountain, the historical ruins at Yuanyang Caves, the early architecture represented by the Jhongshe Historic House, the unusual terrain at Liyu Mountain, the fishing village charm of Jiangjyunao and more are all worth a special trip.

Every year, the Green Turtle visits our pristine waters and beaches to lay their eggs on shore as well. The Penghu Wangan Green Turtle Sightseeing and Breeding Center was therefore established to promote and conserve these special visitors.
For those who enjoy the heat and the sun, let me invite you to visit the Wang-an Township to experience our ecology and culture. I am sure you will return home with many more wonderful memories.
